Fort Yuma Defense Co. respects your privacy. This policy explains information used through this website and in related customer communications.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information you provide
Project discussions may include your name, company or agency, email address, phone number, correspondence, product requirements, quantities, materials, drawings, and reference files. We use information you choose to provide to discuss your requirements and manage the related business relationship.
When you send a quote request, we receive your contact and project details, selected reference files, and privacy acknowledgment. Requests are saved using Cloudflare and emailed to our business inbox, which uses Gmail. Unsubmitted entries stay in the current page; your browser’s autofill settings may retain information separately. Entering a phone number does not enroll you in text messages.
Browsing information and cookies
Cloudflare provides hosting and network services for this website. Delivering and protecting the site may involve your IP address, requested pages, request time, browser information, and referring page. Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies depending on the features enabled. With your permission, Google Analytics measures pages viewed, visit sources, scrolling, links selected, and quote-form activity. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, project details, or uploaded files to Analytics. Analytics receives browser and device information and uses cookies to distinguish visits. We do not use advertising pixels or enable Google Signals or advertising personalization. Fonts and images are served with the site.
Analytics stays off until you choose “Allow analytics.” You can decline or change your choice through “Cookie choices” in the footer. Read our Cookie Policy for storage lifetimes, browser controls, and external links.
How information is used
Information received through business communications is used to answer questions, prepare quotes, coordinate samples and orders, keep business records, protect our systems, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. We request information relevant to the project or communication.
Service providers and other disclosures
Providers supporting website hosting, business communications, and recordkeeping may process information needed for those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or when necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, or address a security issue. These purposes do not permit providers to use customer information for their own marketing.
Mobile numbers, SMS enrollment information, and text-message consent records are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. If a messaging service is used, its providers may process the information needed to deliver messages, maintain consent records, and honor opt-outs.
Retention and security
Google Analytics user and event data is retained for up to 14 months; this limit does not apply to aggregated reports. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days, and we remember your cookie choice for up to 180 days. Google explains its practices in its Privacy Policy.
Business correspondence and project records are kept for the purposes described here, including the customer relationship, recordkeeping obligations, and dispute resolution. The appropriate period depends on the type of record and the reason it is needed. The website’s stored copy of a request and its reference files is normally deleted 90 days after the notification is sent. Requests awaiting delivery remain available for follow-up. Copies in business email and project records may be retained for the purposes described above.
We limit access to customer information to the people and service providers who need it for the related work. Appropriate handling depends on the information involved; please discuss a transfer method for confidential drawings and project files. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Cloudflare and other service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where their services operate. Cloudflare describes its processing in its Privacy Policy.
Your choices and privacy requests
Email legal@fortyumadefenseco.com with the subject “Privacy request.” You may ask about information we hold about you or request access, correction, or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request. Applicable recordkeeping requirements may affect what can be deleted. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights.
The site does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or track browsing across third-party websites. When your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, optional analytics remains off, including when a previous choice allowed it.
Text messages
SMS participation requires a separate choice. The website currently has no SMS enrollment. Our SMS Terms describe consent, message charges, opt-outs, and mobile-information privacy for any separately enrolled text service.
Children
This website is intended for business customers and adults. It is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, use the privacy contact above to request review and deletion.
External websites and policy changes
Manufacturer and supplier links open independently operated websites. Their privacy practices are covered by their own policies. We update this page when our practices change and identify the revision date above. Where required, we provide additional notice or obtain consent before a new use of information.
